Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how ONGROOVE LABS ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the mobile applications we publish, including Purr Track (collectively, the "Apps"). We are an independent software studio based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. We design our Apps to keep the data we collect to a minimum and, wherever possible, to keep your content on your own device.
Information We Collect
- Information you provide directly. When you email us for support, we receive your email address and the contents of your message.
- Content you create in the App. Data you enter (for example, in Purr Track, information about your pets) is stored on your device and, if you enable iCloud, in your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to this content.
- Automatically collected information. Like most apps, we and our service providers may collect limited technical information such as device type, operating system version, app version, general (non-precise) location derived from IP address, and diagnostic or usage data, to keep the App working and to improve it.
- Advertising identifiers. In Apps that display ads, our advertising provider may access your device's advertising identifier as described below.
How We Use Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Apps
- To respond to your support requests
- To diagnose problems and understand aggregate usage
- To display advertising (in Apps that include ads)
- To comply with legal obligations
Third-Party Services
- Apple. The App Store, in-app purchases, subscriptions, and (if enabled) iCloud are provided by Apple and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Google AdMob (advertising). We may use Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect and process information such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and ad interactions to serve and measure ads. See Google's Privacy Policy and "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services."
We do not sell your personal information.
Advertising and Your Choices (iOS)
On iOS, we request your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency before any tracking tied to your advertising identifier. If you do not grant permission, you may still see ads, but they will be non-personalized. You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security.
Subscriptions and Purchases
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We never receive or store your payment card details. Apple provides us only limited, aggregated transaction information.
Data Retention
Content you create stays on your device or in your iCloud until you delete it. Support emails are retained only as long as needed to assist you and to meet legal requirements.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, email support@ongroovelabs.com. Because most of your content stays on your device, you can also delete it directly by removing the data or the App.
Children's Privacy
Our Apps are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
International Users
We are based in Canada. If you use our Apps from outside Canada, your information may be processed in Canada and in other countries where our service providers operate.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, through in-app notice.
